Jie Yin

Jie Yin

Jie Yin studied geographic information science (GIS) at the Beijing Forestry University, China (2014-2018). After that, Jie studied environment and human health at the Beijing Normal University, study the impact of environmental change on gastric cancer and dengue fever with geostatistical methods. She started her PhD at Beijing Normal University in September 2020, focusing on the impact of environmental and human interventions on the transmission and control of echinococcosis in China. Jie was granted a scholarship from China Scholarship Council to study for one year at the University of Zurich under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Paul R. Torgerson (November 2021). She is interested in health risks and response measures to ecological environment change.
